Who to vote for?

Of those currently running, who is the best candidate for President?

The 2008 Campaign is upon us, and as the Iowa Caucus quickly approaches it is time for you to vote. Please answer the question above. You need to justify your selection with specifics, not generalizations. Additionally, make sure to vote in the Presidential Poll on the blog main page.

For the 2008 election i want Rudy Giuliani to become president. He to me shows strong leadership qualities in which a president should have. Unlike our current president, in our 9/11 attack, Mr. Giuliani handeled the situation very well. By not backing down and going straight to the defense of our country he shows the qualities of a strong leader, one that i would like to run my country.

Of all the candidates running, I believe Hillary Clinton is the best choice for president. After eight horrible years with the current administration, it is time to have the leader of this country do something positive for all the people who live here, not just the wealthiest 1%. I believe Hillary Clinton has a vision for what she wants and can accomplish as president along with the brains and passion to see it through. Clinton shares many of the same beliefs on various topics as myself; including, but not limited to, the war in Iraq, abortion, same sex marriage, the economy, social security, and the economically disadvantaged. Plus, I think it is pretty cool that an independent, intelligent, and strong woman is running for one of the highest titles in the United States and might actually win.

In the 2008 election I would like to see Barack Obama win. Out of all the candidates on both the Democratic, and Republican side, he seems to be the most down to earth guy. I believe that he will have a solution to the health care problems that are facing the nation, and can get a hold on the problem. He offers health care that is supposedly as good as his own to families who otherwise cannot afford it. Just with this one gesture, i believe that he is thinking about the people the whole way through, and will not go down without a fight.

I believe that the best candidate for president would be Baroc Obama. With the way our economy has been collapsing over the past eight years, it is obvious that we are in need of a change. Baroc Obama would be the best person to help initiate that change. The focus of his whole campaign has been the idea that he is "fresh" and what our goverment needs. I believe that to be true. We are in need of something new and fresh and with Obama as president, we could look forward to changes within the government and a new start.

I would vote for Obama. He is someone who could bring change to America. He has proven himself in other offices already. I belive he can prove himself as president just as well.
